Waiting for treats
-
Waaaaaay too much sun! and heat!
-
Caught them being cute, through the window.
They walked over and laid down by the jumps while I was indoors,
filling up their treat training pouch.
They are no dummies, they know the jumps mean
the yummies are coming out. -
Naomi’s first tunnel runs
Naomi was spooked by the tunnel when we first got it out of the box and set it up in the living room. We left it up so she could walk around and sniff it, at her own pace. This video was the next day. First goal, get her to put her head in it to see that is was not so scary after all. Gradually, we got her to go through and her tail wagged the whole time. YEAH!
Izzi had done a lot of tunnels as a puppy so she was perfectly happy to go through but in all honesty, she was not happy she had to work for her treats. LOL

Second day, learning plank
-
First day working on balancing toys
-
Their very first time …
… walking across the plank. I’m thrilled with how willing they are to try it and how much they progressed, in just a couple of minutes, practice. I have no idea how to train this trick but we are rewarding for all 4 feet on the board and then, a couple of steps. Old Lady is up first and then it’s the show off’s turn. I find Naomi does better if she moves across it, in her favorite gear of “Very Big Speed”.
The plank is 5″ off the ground and 8′ long.

Very big sad …

What to do when the heat index is 97…
… and it is too hell hot to step foot outdoors!
Why, bring in some jumps and show off for treats.
Orchabella even gets in on the fun. -
Day Two of confinement …
… and the inmates are getting restless.
