Isabella’s 2nd puppy class
In this class we practiced more sits while adding in the word with the hand signal. We also exposed them to things on wheels (not all shown in clip) and thankfully, Isabella wasn’t afraid of anything. The new stuff we worked on was down and come. We have a lot of work ahead of us mastering the downs but she was surprisingly good at coming and following us (ok, following the treats but hey, she still came with me, right past all the distractions).

Isabella’s first puppy agility class
Puppy Agility Classes held at Gem City Dog Obedience Club
In this class we practiced walking and running while trying to maintain Isabella’s attention. For homework, we will be trying to get her to want to target and watch our hands. Lots of praise, treats, and toys are helping with this. She seems to really LOVE fajita chicken and will do about anything to get another piece. She is by far the youngest puppy in the class. She is only about 3.5 months old in this video clip. I was amazed at how well she did but she is an Olde Fashion Basset so I shouldn’t be at all surprised! LOL All of Jane’s dogs do amazing things when given the chance to shine.
