    Waukesha Dog Shows 2009

    Nooge in Waukasha shows 2009

    We are mighty proud of Gramma Jane (Jane Baetz, Olde Fashion Bassets… Nooge’s other mum/breeder/handler) and Noogent this week!  They are an amazing team to see in the ring together.  I literally get goose bumps watching how he responds to her and pours it on.  I will try to add some video later in the week when I get more time to edit them down. He won his second 4 point major so he only needs 3 more points to finish.  Fingers crossed we make it back up there in a couple months to try for his championship.

    We will never be able to thank you enough Jane for this special boy
    and for allowing us to go along for a ride of a life time… he means the world to us, as do you!

    One year Gotcha Day celebration for Yantzee

    July 7, 2008 this little girl arrived via plane all the way from Daphnyland Basset Rescue to become a much loved and adored little Capers Puppergirl, in Ohio.  Auntie Sharon and Uncle Mike hosted her One Year Gotcha Day Pawty and wow, once again they completely out did themselves!  It was so much fun and as always, the food was fabulous.  They even made homemade strawberry ice cream for us and had purple and orange M&M’s custom made with Yantzee’s picture on them.  I tell you, they thought of everything and truly spoiled us.  I am grinning and drooling just thinking about all the fun and yums we had yesterday!  Yantzee’s mummy & daddy (Auntie Melinda and Uncle Ross) brought the most delicious BK mini hamburgers and Bowser Beer (made for dogs, no alcohol) and it was too funny watching every one enjoy the feast in birthday girl’s honor.

    I made the doggers a new dog bone bed and thankfully, they all seem to like it.
    I still need to make the cushion part for it but until I get the time they are enjoying a stack of blankets.
